Paul Bonett - Director

In a previous life, Paul ran a bookshop, Solstice in Trafalgar Street.

He started in Agency in l982 with a firm where “enthusiasm was more important than experience...” He is still enthusiastic and a lot greyer. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, past Chairman of the local branch. He is also a past President of the Brighton & Hove Estate Agents Association - www.bhea.org.uk.
(the BHEAA’s remit is to uphold professional standards amongst local agents). He is totally dedicated to improving the image and public perception of estate agents.
Paul started Bonett’s in l990. Married to Dee, they have two children - Dan, and Helena. According to them, he spends all his time when not working, practising Aikido (www.brightonaikido.co.uk) Paul was UK Shodokan Team Manager for the 2001 and 2003 World Championships.

Lynda Rooney - Lettings Supremo

Lynda started up the Lettings Department in 2005 and it has gone from strength to strength. She is well trained, very knowledgeable and develops a great rapport with our landlords and tenants in Brighton & Hove.

As a company, we want our clients (Landlords) to be happy and our tenants too. Lynda enjoys this part of the job. She is very methodical with our tenant referencing and taking deposits, so the lets are well organised, making for a successful partnership.

Lynda is extremely thorough and nothing is too much trouble...

She can also talk to you in italian.

David Beaken - Senior Negotiator

A local lad, David knows his way around the City really well. He is a friendly, non - pushy, but very focused worker, with past experience with both independent and corporate agents. He likes the Bonett’s approach to doing business, customer – oriented. He plays bass in a famous/infamous (you choose) local band too!!
Our customers love David's positive 'can do' attitude and he loves the dynamism in the company.

Paul, what can I say?

He is a young lad, who, in his first year with us, managed to complete an NVQ Level 2 in 'Selling Residential Property'. Paul first worked for us in his Year 10 Work Experience week from school. We did not put him off the business and he is now developing at a fast rate. We love that!!

He has started to work through his Level 3 and thoroughly enjoys his job.

He is a latter day Mod, so you can expect him to turn up at his appointments on a scooter, wearing a parka.

Outside of work, Paul is a talented footballer.

Angela is a really thorough secretary. She has worked for a variety of local firms, mainly property related, so brings with her a host of skills. She particularly likes the client and customer contact, lacking in some of her previous jobs.
She is responsible for our web content, our magazine adverts and window cards, as well as our property particulars.
She is a fast learner and with all the advances in technology, that's a real benefit!

Bridgette Craig-Walpole - P/T Lettings Negotiator

Bridgette has worked for us in a variety of roles, always customer facing and she is really good at that. She had a long-term career in the travel industry and, if needed, speaks spanish and swedish. She supports Lynda and Hils.
