Misquote in 'Mail on Sunday'

Last weekend, 25th June, I spoke to a 'Mail on Sunday' journalist where we discussed possible percentage decrease in value of property, where those large bins are permanently positioned outside. After a discussion, I finally said that value would not be affected, but there would be a percentage of people who may not want to look at the property as they did not like the bin outside. For those who did view, the bin should not affect the price.

The paper published our 'percentage in value' discussion (a discussion, not a quote), and did not publish my quote.  Classic!  My initial instinct was not to call the Mail on Sunday journalist; I should have listened!!
